📖 How These School Tools Work

What makes the time table clash-free?

The generator schedules the way an experienced timetable in-charge does: heaviest-loaded teachers are placed first, subjects are spread across the week, days fill evenly, and a teacher is never put in two classrooms in the same period. After generation an independent verifier re-checks every cell, and free periods are pushed to the end of the day. If your loads simply cannot fit, the tool names exactly which periods could not be placed instead of silently double-booking anyone.

How are ranks and grades computed?

The result sheet uses competition ranking — equal totals share a rank and the next rank is skipped (1, 2, 2, 4), the convention boards follow — with a CBSE-style eight-band grade (A1 to E) on the exact percentage. The pass mark applies per subject, an absent student counts zero but shows AB rather than FAIL, and any mark typed above a subject's maximum is rejected with the line and student named before anything is computed.

How does the exam seating plan keep classmates apart?

Students are placed so that no two from the same class sit adjacent — side-by-side or front-and-back — and an independent check confirms zero same-class neighbouring pairs before you print. Vacant seats print as dashed buffers, each room chart carries its class counts and a blackboard marker, and class-wise door lists come in the same PDF. When separation is genuinely impossible for the rooms given, the tool says so honestly instead of faking it.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Are these school tools really free?

Yes — every tool on this page is free with no signup, no watermark beyond a small footer credit, and no limits on how many timetables, result sheets or seating plans you generate.

Is student data safe in these tools?

Yes. Everything runs inside your browser — marks, student lists and teacher names are processed on your device and never uploaded to any server. The result sheet and seating tools deliberately collect no dates of birth, photographs or ID numbers.

Do these tools work offline once the page loads?

Yes — after a page loads once, generation and PDF download work without an internet connection, since everything happens locally in your browser.

Are the tools mobile-friendly?

Yes — the pages and PDFs work on any phone. For big pastes like a full class's marks or a whole school's allocations, a laptop keyboard is simply more comfortable; the output prints the same from any device.
