How the timetable is generated
You give it the raw allocations — which teacher takes which subject in which class, and for how many periods a week — and the generator does the scheduling the way an experienced timetable-in-charge would: it places the most heavily loaded teachers first (they have the least room to manoeuvre), spreads each subject across the week instead of bunching it, balances how full each day gets, and above all never puts a teacher in two classrooms in the same period. After the grid is built, an independent verifier re-checks every cell for clashes — the timetable you print is mathematically clash-free.
Honesty is built in: if your loads simply cannot fit — a teacher given 45 periods in a 40-period week, a class allotted more periods than the week holds — the tool refuses to fake it. A capacity check warns you before generation, and if a handful of lessons still cannot be placed, it lists exactly which ones, so you adjust loads with facts instead of discovering clashes on Monday morning.
Writing the allocation lines
One line per class-subject: Class | Subject | Teacher | Periods per week. A shared teacher appears on multiple lines and the generator coordinates them. A typical class carries 38–42 periods in a 5-day, 8-period week — the sample already loaded in the box shows the pattern; edit it with your own names.
What the PDF contains
